Mistakenly put on too much blush? Don't rub your cheeks since you'll only end up streaking the rest of your make up. Instead, lightly swirl a cotton ball over your cheeks to pick up the excess powder. Then finish off by dusting loose powder over cheeks to lessen the intensity of the color. Don't have a cotton? Try rubbing your palms together briskly (just make sure they're dry), then pat your cheeks lightly with your warmed hands to help absorb excess blush.
